About Cluely

Cluely is building AI to give you an unfair advantage in every situation.

It acts as a desktop assistant that takes in screen, mic, and audio context to give you information and suggestions that existing model providers cannot, due to a lack of context.

We will win for two reasons:

1) Chatbots are not the best interface for multi-modal AI

2) We can make anything viral

About the Role

We work six days a week in-person in San Francisco, 10-12 hours a day.

You are expected to live within a block of the office (housing provided).

The entire codebase is strictly typed (no ts-ignore or anys). We use Bun, Elysia, and strictly typed routes.

You might be a good fit if you are:

• One of the best engineers in the world
• Strong fullstack engineer (React/Electron/Infra experience)You should know how to efficiently fetch and cache data in a React applicationYou should know how to design and structure database schemas that optimize read and write performanceYou should be comfortable deploying and scaling applications and be able to weigh pros and cons of different infra/devops solutionsI will sanity check all of the above in an interview with you

Compensation:

• Founding engineers get anywhere from $250k-$350k base + 0.25-0.5% equity
• We also offer free food
