The US healthcare system is complex, error-prone, and financially draining. Medical bills and insurance coverage shouldn't be this hard to navigate. At Granted, we're building the one solution every American can turn to for help.
Thanks to AI and new regulations, Granted can fight claim denials, correct billing errors, negotiate bills, and make coverage easier to understand, saving people time, money, and energy. Our goal is simple: to be the platform that empowers all Americans to take charge of their healthcare.
Founded by a former Oscar Health leader, we're a seed-stage company with $17M in funding. We're lucky to be backed by the founders and investors at Hugging Face, Rocket Money, Oscar Health, CaseText, Forerunner Ventures, RRE Ventures, and more. We are well-funded and have solid runway.
Bill lowering is the hook. People come to us when they have a bill they can't afford or don't understand. Granted checks it, catches errors, overcharges and denials, secures financial assistance, and negotiates with providers. That earns us the right to be connected to their insurance and their patient data, and from there Granted runs in the background, proactively monitoring every bill to help patients lower and pay what they owe.
Our Growth & Engagement pod builds the experience people have when they first meet Granted and the reasons they keep coming back. We're building a consumer-first product that makes navigating bills and benefits intuitive, transparent, and even delightful.
As a product engineer on this team, you'll ship across the stack with a lean toward the frontend (roughly 70% frontend, 30% backend). Youβll use new AI-native software paradigms, leveraging the frontier of software development tooling to build a world class application. You'll work closely with Product, Design, and senior engineers on the pod, owning features from idea to production, with plenty of room to grow your scope as you ramp.
