The Security Modernization Specialist Mid provides Zero Trust and security-modernization consulting and engineering support to leadership and delivery teams. The specialist independently evaluates current capabilities, develops roadmaps and strategies, coordinates stakeholders, and translates technical findings into implementable modernization actions.

Job Responsibilities

Job Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant cybersecurity modernization, Zero Trust, security architecture, or security engineering experience.
• Working knowledge of OMB M-22-09, CISA's Zero Trust Maturity Model, NIST SP 800-207, Executive Order 14028, and federal Zero Trust guidance.
• Experience conducting architecture, tool, configuration, process, readiness, and gap assessments across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Experience developing implementation roadmaps, strategies, metrics, dashboards, schedules, risk registers, and technical recommendations.
• Strong facilitation, technical writing, presentation, stakeholder-coordination, and documentation skills.
