Staff product designer owning end-to-end design for Vetcove's veterinary practice software, from discovery and research to wireframes and visuals. Works with engineers, PMs and the founding team, and helps evolve the design system. Requires 5+ years designing B2B or SaaS web applications.

Join Vetcove and help modernize the future of veterinary software and the pet parent healthcare experience. Our suite of platforms features a market-leading procurement marketplace, an ultra-modern home delivery ecommerce experience, and a next-generation practice management system. More than 25,000 hospitals across all 50 states rely on Vetcove daily, supporting tens of thousands of veterinarians who care for tens of millions of pets each year.

We are modernizing the 50 billion dollar plus animal health industry by giving veterinary organizations the tools to focus more on patient care. Backed by Y Combinator and top venture investors in Silicon Valley, New York and Miami, Vetcove is a fast-growing, mission-driven company. We are searching for talented and passionate people who want to help shape the future of veterinary care.

Vetcove is looking for an experienced and versatile staff product designer to help us craft exceptional experiences that empower veterinary clinics to thrive.

As a designer at Vetcove, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the tools that clinics use every day to run their practices, from inventory management to pharmacy workflows and beyond. You’ll own design efforts end-to-end—from early discovery and research to wireframes and polished visuals—collaborating closely with engineers, PMs, and our founding team along the way.

We’re looking for someone who can think in systems, prototype ideas quickly, and bring clarity to complex workflows. You’ll be instrumental in shaping not only our product, but our overall design culture as we scale. We operate in a fully remote environment, giving you the flexibility to do your best work while staying deeply connected to a fast-moving, highly collaborative team.

What you’ll do

  • Lead end-to-end design for core product areas—taking ideas from early concept to final implementation
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define team roadmaps and ensure we’re solving the right problems
  • Partner with engineers to ensure a high-quality implementation that matches the design intent
  • Create flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas clearly
  • Facilitate design sprints, user research sessions, and collaborative workshops
  • Help evolve and maintain our design system to ensure a cohesive experience across the platform
  • Work in a fully remote environment!

Who you are

  • You have 5+ years of experience designing thoughtful, intuitive web applications
  • You’ve shipped complex B2B or SaaS products, and can speak to your process in doing so
  • You think in systems and patterns, and have strong instincts for usability, interaction design, and hierarchy
  • You move fluidly between user experience, interaction, and visual design
  • You have a strong portfolio that shows off your product thinking and attention to detail
You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with engineers and stakeholders
  • You care deeply about quality and craftsmanship—but you’re also pragmatic when needed

Benefits (Full Time Roles)

  • 100% remote within the USA
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Automatic 401k contribution
  • Employee referral program
  • At home office set up
  • Bi-annual company retreats
  • Open vacation policy
  • Equity
  • Monthly team events
